Founded in 2000 as a non-profit association at the Vienna Institute of Technology (TGM), vit.tgm enjoys a reputation for being one of Vienna‘s premier IT training facilities.

The articles of the founding charter stipulate that vit.tgm encourage further education by offering a variety of IT-related training programmes. Not only will the training programmes add to the individual‘s skills – and therefore make job outlooks better – but will also enhance Austria‘s competitivity in the heart of the enlarged European Union.

Given the fast pace of the IT industry, training is most effective when carried out in close cooperation with leading equipment and software vendors. This is why vit.tgm is partnering with major IT companies such as Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Fluke Networks, Panduit and Hewlett-Packard. Sponsorship by these industry leaders enables vit.tgm to stay at the cutting edge of technology.
